Red-throated Barbet

This is what its look like 95% of my birds pictures, and I should press those DEL button.
This lousy out of focus bird is a lifer for me, so I keep this for my record.
Red-throated Barbet (Megalaima mystacophanos)

  1. Oh, I know where you are coming from. Everytime someone tells me that I make it look so easy, (a deep felt compliment) all those shots that hit the trash can come to mine. I know where you are coming from, oh, do I. I\’m delighted that you have the life bird.

  2. Thanks for your comment Steve. This Barbet was feeding on fig fruits under the shade of trees, typical rain forest condition. So shutter speed of 1/30 sec and 1/50 sec with moving/feeding bird can\’t help with a good photography.Wildlife Bird Photography is not easy.

  3. Assalamualaikum…Hari saya telefon tu…membersaya Hairie hilang alpha 200 sony.Hari selasa 3/3. tu kami pergi Kuala Lumpur.Beli backdrop untuk karnival perkahwinan di Benta.Saja tanya tak nak jual ke canon 400D.

  4. I can go out and fill a 8 gig card with 400 shots and delete all but 30 or 40 of them. Better than back during the film days.I keep photos of lifers that if they were not lifers, they would have been deleted.Congrats on the life bird!

  5. Oops I know very well how you feel Tabib! That blurred photos more often than not happens at the wrong moment every time!Beside that I also realized that when a great shooting chance appears, my contact lens would dry up or my CF full!well, I guess those challenges make it a FUN activity!
