I found a poem at South African Poetry International Web, by Lionel Abrahams with the same tittle.

  1. The one with the blue sky is very pretty! It\’d be interesting to see what it\’d look like when all the birds start flying away.

  2. This is a really nice picture with all the birds congregating on this dead tree giving it in a way a new lease of like. I wish you a happy new year.

  3. I don\’t think I\’ve ever SEEN so many birds in a single \’dead\’ tree. Both photos are fascinating. Thanks for visiting me a Happily Retired Gal and leaving a comment with the link back here.Hugs and blessings,

  4. The tree might look dead but it\’s teaming with life. Not only the birds either. Just take a peak inside and it\’s probably crawling with all sorts of insect life. Anyway great shots and such a different feel between the first and the second shot.Happy New year!
